First of all Democrats have done the same thing for election seats if you're going to say one is trying to cheat then you have to recognize the other side is cheating also

It's cute that democrats think authoritarians can be defeated with lawsuits. How can you utilize lawsuits to take down a regime that doesn't care about the law? The republicans have broken nearly every law on the books and violated the constitution time and time again.

Just like any other authoritarian regime, you can't defeat an authoritarian regime by screaming into the wind. The only way is to pick up arms and violently fight back – Barring that, we will expect our rights to vanish before our eyes.

Filing lawsuits and trying to do things the 'right' way is precisely how we will lose the rest of our rights.

Look at history to see how well "doing things the right way" tends to play out in the initial thrall of a government take over of an authoritarian leadership.

Dems gerrymander a half dozen states so that there are NO GOP US reps in those states.
TDS reaction: Fair redistricting; democracy working as it should.

GOP gerrymanders Texas so that there are FEWER Dem US reps in the state.
TDS reaction: Unfair redistricting; the end of democracy.

Are you Dems even aware that your approval numbers are at a record low, and TDS stuff like this vid only make them lower?

This is the version of civil war that's been coming. They're walling off the blue democrat cities. That's how the geography issue is handled. The left is being contained and strangled by police control. This ain't looking good

I feel a revolution coming. I know I’m angry as f^ck about the insane cost of living, threats to end insurance coverage by making it unaffordable for most working people, threats to privatize OUR social security that we have paid into for decades, threats to end MY right to vote as a woman… the list goes on.
Just keep pushing it assholes, republicans are not the only ones who are armed. ✊

Okay, I know some people are like “oh when the democrats did this you weren’t mad”
I would be, it’s not right to redraw the lines no matter what, we have more focus on this right now because Mr Toddler in the office is trying to cover up the Epstein files in which everyone is mad about AND it’s a fear tactic.
In my mind, and in other people’s mind (Including Democratic politicians as Leeja stated) redirecting isn’t right for anyone, and it should be equal representation for every group

A system that can be broke down in 6 months is no system at all. In fact, I could argue, it is a system in fact working properly just stopped pretending to care for you.

11:2512:30 Yet another example of why Dems LOSE. I like Eric Holder, very recently I felt that a Gavin Newsome and Eric Holder ticket would be freakin' awesome. Then Gavin plays footsy with white supremacist on his podcast and while up until right now Eric Holder thought only blue states should act in a non-partisan way while Republikkklan states are actively free to lie, cheat and steal. He should've had this recent opinion way back when he was serving in the Obama administration.

The USA always was and is an oligarchy. Things like the EC help ensure that. Mostly, it's corporations that write the laws and have purchased the government. What people want doesn't happen. What the 1% wants does. How are you going to remove the tyrants from your government?

No one, Republic or Democrat would except “no more elections.” That’s pretty silly.
Congress writes law. The best the executive branch can do is write EO’s. SCOTUS decides from both state or federal dictats, what is constitutional and what is not. Will Pelosi or Schumer or Mark Elias accept no more elections? 🤔

The good news is that the institutions are buckling and crumbling so quickly that by the time they collapse there will still be a lot of people who believe in them around to rebuild them to be dipshitproof, no more gentleman's agreements

Isn't the 2nd amendment specifically directed toward if the government steps out of line? That the citizens have the right to bear arms as to defend from an unjust regime? I'm not American, I'm Swedish, but according to the constitution, citizens would have the right to fight the Trump regime with violence. Of course, that probably wouldn't hold up in court (especially when it is the government that is responsible for the courts) but it should be kept in mind, I think.

Democracy got the left BIG mad. LOL gerrymandering is WONDERFUL PROGRESS so long as it's Democrats doing it in Illinois, New Jersy, New York, California…..hell Minnesot is about the only true blue state that isn't gerrymandered in an absolutely clownish way.

I’ve got an idea: each Democrat run state (eg, California) writes its law to say it will draw its districts to favor democrats to the same extent (+5%) that any (or all) other comparably sized state (eg, Texas) draws its district to favor Republicans . That way, if there is a gerrymandering problem, the blames lies squarely with the originators: the Republicans, until we all decide collectively to put a stop to this madness.

If they don’t count non citizens, they need to not count everyone who is not eligible to vote, including incarcerated people. You know they build giant prisons in deep red rural areas.

Well, the US would be far from the first super power that crumbles because of a system that stopped working because the elites were more interested in getting more rich than in doing reforms that benefit everyone longterm.

The fact that it’s totally allowed, to just like not let the president take office.

This government has always been broken it’s just that no one ever tried to do this shit before
