I haven't seen this channel before but I wish you well bro.
Just remember that at the core of making videos is connecting to people and I mean that in the cheesiest lovey dovey way cause that’s where the motivation is lol I wish you all well!

It's nuts to me that you ever felt like this.
It's how I feel, but you're so much more talented than me. I compare myself to you. All. The. Time.
I envy the shit out of you, and in ways it makes me feel bad about myself.

I like coming back to see this when I’m in the same place. Reminds me I’m not the only none. Sleeping for a week straight or just a vacation …no work helps a lot

It's actually crazy that it's creators like you that do the complete opposite for me because I feel this alllll the time. But because of you and very few other people on this earth, I feel like there is hope for MY creative outlet. Thank you so much for this video I'm seeing it sooo late but it's perfect timing. ❤️

Hey Kurtis! I know this may be weird of me to make a comment on a 2 year old video. Your "Goat Story" vid was my first vid I saw on your channel. I've been a citizen of Kurtistown ever since. Thanks for what you do every day man. I've been watching a lot of your vids and saw this one. We all get like this sometimes (some more often than others). I appreciate your letting us see a bit of your personal life and inside your head. Being vulnerable and posting a vid on the internet to/ in front of people you don't know personally takes balls. Glad to witness your success after reaching this point in your life.

hey kurtis, i dont know if you can still see this but i just wanted you to know that being better than other's isn't what your goal should be. it should be being better than how you used to be

Sounds like imposter syndrome. I'm in research and while it's not the most obviously creative work, I find making lists of recent (however minor) accomplishments helps. Also gratitude journaling and writing out what you appreciate about yourself. You may be tempted to just think it, but materializing it on paper or at least saying it out loud is essential. Do this for a few minutes every day. I'm 8 months into gratitude journaling – best decision I ever made for my mental well-being!

I know that this video is 2 years old now, but I think that things like this crisises might come back in different parts of our lives, so I’ll leave a comment here (sorry for my english, i’m actually from Russia). When I have to deal with this kind of things, when it comes to creativity I usually just try new styles, new techniques, and even if I end up not liking the result, it still makes me feel better. Sometimes even repeating after other people and copying what they do might help. Because sometimes we can get tired of ourselves and I think it’s totally ok to try new things and repeat after people you admire. So good luck, Kurtis! (btw I really love your videos, they make me laugh so hard, keep doing that, you’re awesome!)

You are the highlight of my week. I know the thoughts of people doing the same thing and are bigger than you put you down, but it's okay to feel like that sometimes, we have emotions and we automatically compare ourselves to others because we wanna think how we can achieve what they have. But you bring smiles to your fanbase and everyone who takes the time to watch your videos. Kurtis town is the best town everrrr!!! i've been a part of Kurtis town for a year and you have literally made the worst days the best. Thankyou for making your videos and hope your better now

Listen to your favorite music (or sing it obnoxiously as I do), meditate, pray (if you're religious), take a warm shower/bath (or cold if that's your thing), write a crazy story, call your friends/family, tell someone you love them, give people hugs, do community service, exercise (I know it's hard but it is scientifically proven to make you happy-ish sometimes), watch your favorite show, play a good game, buy something you've always wanted (or be really responsible with your money or both), eat fruits and veggies, eat pizza (but not too much), go outside, read a book (or Wattpad), and talk to a therapist if you want (don't be afraid to get professional help, it can save your life- it saved mine!). I hope this wacky long list is helpful to somebody. Also, work on your sleep schedule because that will make a HUGE difference in your life overall. Anyone have other ideas to add to this list?
I thought of something else to add to the list:
Check out "DBT Skills Training Handouts and Worksheets" by Marsha M. Linehan. That will hopefully give you some more ideas on what to do (and maybe talk to a therapist about DBT too).

Heyy, I'm so proud of you 🌼
I mean, u are doing great, I can relate a lot with this, bc I'm a plastic artist who is usually depressed to do shit lol so
Anyway, I'm proud of what you do, and what you have.
Also, I know it's hard. I mean, it's hard for me that I'm a no one, but for u, idk, pbbly harder, but, stop seeing those numbers, they get to nowhere lol
What I do, is actually Procrastinate a lot, and do stuff that make me less miserable, so, when I'm in a better mood I just had like a brain storm with myself that ended usually in a lot of ideas, and just start with the easiest one, with baby steps. That's what I do lol
I know probably you won't be seeing this but whatever
