I went to college in Boulder when this song popped off, and I don't know how overplayed this song was elsewhere but you could NOT escape it in Boulder. I would get good laughs when it came on at parties by simply singing the song with all the lyrics changed to Boulder. "Boulder boulder boulder boulder."

Man, people REALLY had their priorities wrong when it came to songs to hate in 2016. It's not the best song ever but it's their hit I like the best and looking at some of the other shit that got popular in 2016 this was a nice break, especially since we were still in the depression-pop phase of music. And I like how unlike most pop music which consists of "Oh we're so cool and partying and fucking all the time" these are 2 people with scuffed lives that might not be the greatest but they still love each other.

Pull the sheets right off the corner of the 5 year old TempurPedic mattress that you stole from your bisexual Hawaiian roommate back in Boulder on Saturday September 5th at 7:53am while they were out walking their dog because you can't afford your Rover let alone a mattress… I think i lost the plot, what were we doing?

I have no idea why this song still clears but it does

Going straight from reminiscing about stealing a mattress from a roommate to proclaiming they will never get older makes perfect sense to me because that's highly immature behavior and they're saying they intend to stay that way

i'm 7 years late but i need to say it. this is genuinely the worst song ever made. If i was locked in a room and forced to listen to a terrible song and they gave me a choice between this and that fancy like applebees song i would genuinely quadruple my time if it meant i never had to listen to this song ever again. I don't get how anyone could like this. At all. The clapping, the… snapping? oh god the snapping. It haunts my nightmares. the only thing it's missing is that stupid "HEY! HEY!" crap in the background. The excuse of a "beatdrop" that sounds like diarrhea in a toilet i mean… really??

I don’t fully understand how they made Roses, Closer, Paris, and despite all of those being great, i’m not even remotely interested in hearing anything else from them
