FUNNY STUFF

Freshman Fifteen: A Stand Up Comedy Film

Josh Johnson | November 25, 2025

Last year we embarked on the biggest tour I had done (up until this one) so much was changing about my life and my outlook on comedy I decided to document a little bit of it to share with you all on YouTube.

The team that worked on this project are some of the most dedicated, generous and genuine creators and artists I know.

I know times are tough for people so I hope this can be a fun laugh for you all. A little while to forget about everything except the fun and good things you’ll love to remember.

Just announced the first leg of my 2025 tour! Check out https://joshjohnsoncomedy.com/tour for dates and to sign up for the waitlist to be notified when I’m performing in your city.

If you love my stories I have a podcast that comes out every week: https://bit.ly/3NQmpio

I had a coworker who had what I called a "hyena laugh", some people gave her shit for it, I made sure she knew I found it endearing.

I know what you mean, Taylor Swift is literally 3 days older than me and I often compare her life to mine in terms of accomplishments lol

I was feeling despair, which is hard to do I'm usually the silver lining person. I was turning to the dark side and festering in everything that was wrong with everything and I stumbled on to one of your videos. If there was a 5 min abs but for the soul and actually worked. Things get me down, I just click on one of your videos and the world feels like it's going to be ok again. You're amazing and if you ever do a show near me, I'll bring the chicken pot pie 🙂

It seems the shows on the Flowers Tour held fewer F-bombs and I appreciate that. Maybe it’s just a generational thing, but they still sting my ears , and in my mind, automatically lower the IQ of the speaker. Just sayin’ ……. LOVE you and your comedy and your philosophy! ❤

I'm old enough to remember when Wheel of Fortune was hosted by Chuck Woolery, and instead of cash, they made people pick out prizes from a bunch of items at the side of the stage. The items were almost always pretty odd or impractical too. LOL

Josh, you are a very spiritually evolved being. You do have a choice over the type of "old man" you will become. Read the Discourses of St. Germain. Not everyone is ready to work with themselves this way, but maybe some day… You are comedy gold, and you definitely have a heart of gold! Blessings.
