Go to my sponsor https://aura.com/leeja to try 14 days and let Aura go to work protecting your private information online! | The tensions erupting in Texas over the redistricting fight and the push for the FBI to get involved with rounding up out of state Texas law makers is laying bare the tensions between north and south as well as between states rights and the federal government in a way we truly haven’t seen since before the Civil War.

It appears that democrats intend to prosecute law enforcement for doing their jobs, and enforcing immigration policies. Sound very FASCIST to me. I'm NOT worried. Dummycrats won't sniff the WH for the rest of my life. That's how corrupt dummycrats are…

Thank you for communicating what the “rules should be”. It’s unfortunate though that the current regime is completely ignoring the rules and constitutions (federal and state) and just yanking people off the streets for rendition. 😩

Right Leeja the Left hates America, it’s people, it’s history and wants to fill it with hostile strangers and globalize it into decline. How can we possibly accept that?

Sick of podcasters promoting fake data removal companies. They get you off the lists of small players they don’t get nearly half of your data off the internet

The problem is NOT to draw a perfect comparison with the 1850's.

The real problem has always been the same : what are the current "abolitionists" going to do against the injustices and cruelties that the regime is engaging in against them ?
The answer to this question already can't just be a flowery one.

In the American Civil War, which was not a true Civil War by definition, the southern states kept slaves to do their labor for them. The political party of the south were called, “Southern Democrats.”
Now, Corporatist’s in America for Big Ag are crying because they are losing their near slave labor from over the Southern Border. They aren’t a political party but likewise hold enormous power.

Just a polite suggestion for Leeja: I tuned out after a minute, this video is like listening to someone read an encyclopedia cover to cover in a monotone voice. This mind numbing video could be used for mental torture.

The only people wanting a civil war and race war are the same people/same kinda of people who lost the civil war….the rest of us just want to survive and live in peace.

Conservatives have been enacting a believed Holy War since the Tea Party protests. It’s only Liberals who are still questioning if we’re in the midst of a civil conflict

TTRPG study knowledge for the win: I have recently built a character for a Delta Green game who is a member of the U.S. Marshall service, and from studying that I learned that it is EXPLICITLY the purview of the U.S. Marshalls to locate and arrest fugitives over state lines for violation of state or federal law.

The Marshall service retains the exclusive authority to conduct law enforcement in all U.S. States and territories, and to requisition local law enforcement for assistance in an ongoing operation (not that other departments CAN'T do this, but that the Marshall service was created SPECIFICALLY for this purpose. If someone is on the run or has gone missing, the Marshalls have constitutional authority to go wherever, whenever, and do whatever's necessary to locate them.)

So the question is, if it's explicitly the job of the Marshall service to apprehend and return fugitives across state lines, why did Abbot call for help from the FBI and not the Marshalls? That's like calling a police cruiser to transport someone to a hospital rather than an ambulance; yes, it CAN do that, but that's not what it's meant for and it'll make a real mess out of it.

Basically, because he CAN'T ask the Marshall service. Marshalls are empowered by the Constitution to serve WARRANTS anywhere in the U.S. Territory; they are servants of the JUDICIARY, not the Executive Branch. Without a federal warrant, the Marshalls have no reason or business being involved, and Abbot can't get one of those without charging the missing legislators with a crime, which they haven't committed. So that's why he asked the FBI instead of the Marshalls, because the FBI is under the umbrella of the Executive Branch and Kash Patel is in Trump's pocket, so he can count on the FBI to fudge some paperwork and throw their weight around, circumventing the need to involve the Judiciary at all.

It's just another step in consolidating power in the Executive Branch by packing it full of cronies who won't question or disobey the Supreme Leader. The "Rule of Law" is becoming the "Rule of Trump," and soon it'll be no better than Soviet Russia or Nazi Germany here.
