Stunning winter wolf in northern Minnesota
A great look at the breeding female of the Nashata Lake Pack, a remote pack in Voyageurs National Park. What good fortune to have our camera in the perfect spot on this beaver dam (with awesome lighting to boot!)!
Anyway, she has a distinctive face that allows us to easily identify her in videos, which is super helpful. Not all wolves are so easily identified. She produced the first litter of Nashata Pack pups this past spring, of which at least 3 survived to the fall. We have many cameras out to see how many make it through the winter!

I have a Siberian Husky. Have been told that they have no more Wolf DNA than a cocker Spaniel. But the manager in witch she moves is so similar. Finding a stick and pulling it up the stretch the laying in the snow. ?? Canβt figure it out. Anybody else have that question

I was wondering what the wolf was doing there, then I read the Description. I think she was getting time away from her pups! πππ
