Perfect list. Justice for all I’d have put higher if bass was properly in the mix and whilst some of their greatest songs on there it can’t be listed higher

Funny enough My Friend of Misery was supposed to be an instrumental, but Bon Rock and James weren't having it. It was supposed to be Jasons orion, but they decided not to do it

Due to the "loudness wars" Death Magnetic sounds like shit unless you get the Guitar Hero version which is not brickwalled.

I haven't listened seriously to Metallica since And Justice For All. Maybe I'll go back, skipping the Black album and St. Anger for sure, yuck. Bob Rock killed the band for me.

I wish people stop putting LULU in metallica album rankings. Its not a metallica album.And I do not know where you got Hetfield saying Reload consisting all of the crappy songs from the load sessions. Fuel is one of Het's favorite tracks.

load and reload are highly underrated. I love all of Metallica’s albums except for St Anger. I don’t know Lulu and the two newest ones well enough to have an opinion on them. Master of Puppets and Black Album are my top 2. wait – there is no time stamp for the Black Album. Did you really not even talk about this one?

Personally I preferred "Ride the Lightning" over "Master". You should do a ranking of Slayer's albums, as they didn't move away from Thrash.

Great review. Saw them in 85 & 86 and they were a force of nature. Hard to understand what they have become, should have packed in years ago. Absolute dogshit for the last 20 years.

I would put 72 in the bottom and upgrade hardwired which I find a lot better.
