I wish that more people gave GFOTY more credit. This may be a hot take, but GFOTY is definitely one of the best artists signed to the label. QT made one song, and still gets more recognition than her, which is quite upsetting. She is just such an artist, and is so experimental! I just wish that more people saw that in her art

I don't think its too odd to say you like the sound of a specific record label, if its a smaller one anyway. Indie labels a lot of times have their own roster that people tend to listen to. I'm old so I remember getting indie record label compilation CDs for cheap that gave you a taste of all their artists. It wasn't weird to say you were into Sub Pop artists, Discord Records sound, Hyperdub, etc.
