    This is crazy. I have Sea of "R" on my YouTube Music as a titled upload because I got it from an old post-Napster P2P client ages ago. The client also hosted chat forums, of which I spent most of my time in prog metal, industrial and drums and bass. I legit thought the song was an experimental track and had no idea it wasn't actually Diru, top troll material, 10/10!

    Oh, if anyone likes the more rock Japanese music similar to Dir En Grey and away from the pop and speedmetal, check out a band called "MUCC."

    Man, I used to be so into japrock and anime but unfortunately it's one of those things I eventually learned to hate due to the annoying fans.

    As someone who paid 40 bucks for Gauze when it came out, due to being produced by Yoshiki, I'm a little incredulous that Dir En Grey had a big fanbase in 1998 America.

    Now i wonder, if I still have a Sea of Rs file lol But I don't think I remember it as the full title but the shortened version. Or maybe I'm just fooling myself. There were so many mistitled songs and PVs back then. I'm still not sure of my bootlegged early audios are really them or even La:Sadies lol

    I remember downloading the track from Winmx years ago wherein you can play the song even before it was completely downloaded. I thought it was a long intro to some song before something poppy like Yokan or Raison d'etre. I went "Any time now…" then the song ended.

    Okay but can we just talk about how this guy had some pretty cool ideas? The circus music with hitler speeches and a loud siren sounds honestly like a really cool experimental track. Almost reminds me of throbbing Gristle kind of.

    I remember that in my early years of listening to Dir en grey that I downloaded a song (from a site I don't remember anymore) called "Red Glass" that was really like somebody that put together the tracks of Red Soil and Glass Skin (from the Uroboros album) remixed in one track. It was cool and I believed it to be a real song but sadly I don't have it anymore and cannot find it online
