Went to highschool with the daughter of the maschot for the Toronto raptors. She did a raffle with the school and I won really good tickets which I never got and now the raptors are ass I don’t even want them anymore

just a thought from me, but me and my mother got an audi for free from my grandfather (it was his old car, so he gave us it as a gift). while we didnt have to pay taxes on it or anything, expensive cars STAY expensive. The gas it took? fucking insane. when it needed repairs? had to be specially imported parts from germany. they make these cars so that if youre rich and buy these cars, you gotta stay rich. hate it

I thought you were going to discuss those giveaways where "every $5 gets you 2 entries…" is mostly used. While not really illegal they are scummy in that they use their followers as cash cows that can be milked regularly. The trick of it is they know how many people roughly will buy their merch and they'll choose a prize that fits within that budget. They always start out small but for example a $10-20k ATV is the prize and they fully intend to double or triple the cost of the prize. Now they have double or triple the money they started with and so you rinse and repeat until you turn into mr. beast or a host of other channels that seem to almost always do this once they break a certain # of subs. It's no different than going to a casino where the house always wins. That's a whole lot of F U money potential for little to no effort at all (aside from building up your subs in the first place). This again is not illegal but really is a scummy move to use your viewers like money cow you can just milk whenever you want so you can buy a tank or helicopter or racetrack…you know exactly who I'm talking about it.
