Decent movie liked the way they took it but yeah really kinda oversold the shutter island vibe just to not pull though but all and all it was definitely an experience and worth a watch.

What a dumb movie. All the build up to a crappy ending. I thought Nicolas Cage was going to go crazy and kill every one of those surfer douchebags. The only thing we learn is that the Australian surfers are assholes.

I actually like the way the set it up as if there's a big twist just for it to disappoint it's like they do this to make the viewers feel nicks loss of sanity due to the extreme heat and dehydration and really put them in his shoes so that they experience that same insanity to show that no matter how much of a grip he looses on reality this is still real he is just losing his shit and we are seeing him question himself and what he thought was true showing us what he is going through and what his thought process is during this

This was such a hard watch for me. I was waiting for anything intersting to happen or some revenge to be taken or some smart decisions to be made. None of that and 2 hours I'm not getting back. Definitely not for me
