You laid it out pretty clearly in the video, but I think in the video game's case something has to be known about before it can be forgotten. And the ideas of flops is really a thing that goes beyond the raw numbers and into vibes. Lord of the Rings, the rings of power is said to be doing well enough, has multiple seasons, ect, but people will probably think of that as a flop before concord because it was supposed to be the biggest thing in the world.

Vice president squinty will never be president. He seems like he might be a good fit but there is just something a bit off about him. I think the squinty eyes might've worked for him if he didn't look so much like a politician or like the second pastor for a medium sized church, which is to say that he's plump and has a combover while still having a full head of hair. Also, the balloon hands and the total dearth of character are a bit off-putting.

Was the trump administration responsible for the COVID vaccine or did they just contribute 10billion dollars amoung others pike Canada that spend 9 billion in the development of the COVID vaccine among other donor's? Maybe I'm off?

JJ, you're probably too young to be familiar with the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons, but your voice reminds me of the narrator on those shows. Gives me the warm fuzzies 😊

Question for you JJ, after the whole country becomes the 51st State, are you still going to continue educating about Canadian history and culture or continue onward as the new history and culture as the 51st State? What would you do then?

As an American and someone who was voted for Trump, I have no problem that Trump requested that vaccines be made. I have a problem that the Biden administration forced the vaccinations on us when they hadn't even been tested.

hi JJ, i wanted to come over to thank you for not ripping up that american flag at the urging of tim miller. its a sad thing when a non american has more respect for my country than some of its natives.

I feel there's a big thing in the world of entertainment and gaming which will far surpass Concord in its cultural impact: Arcane and the release of its second and final season, for a few reasons:

    1. It hit the peak of its popularity this year (according to Google Trends), ranking first in Netflix's Top 10 chart in 52 countries, meaning most people have only just heard of it despite its first season making waves in 2021.

    2. It cost $250 million dollars to make, making it the most expensive animated series ever produced (at least according to the headlines) and second most expensive animated production ever (on par with Lion King and only behind Tangled in its cost).

    3. Its groundbreaking animation style, which combined 2D, 3D; digital, traditional; western and eastern techiques to redefine what the medium can and should look like, arguably even more than the Spiderverse movies.

    4. It is probably the biggest artistic work to fully embrace the Steampunk genre both in its aesthetic and its themes, meaning the already big movement will become even more well-known thanks to the series.

    5. Its artstyle is already being used to teach anatomy to new art students, as it simplifies the complex patterns of the human body into elegant and geometric shapes which are easy to replicate (at least from what I've heard from some artists, I can't corroborate as I'm not one myself).

    6. Its enticing narrative, characters and worldbuilding; which manage to say something profound about almost every major contemporary sociopolitical discussion such as family, mental health and trauma, gender and sexuality, inequality and class conflict, the cost of technological progress, loneliness, etc. These themes being further enriched by the hidden systems of symbolism in the series' fashion, color usage and even animals.

Despite the mixed reception of its second season, I believe it will become a 21st century classic that will be studied for generations.

It's unfortunate the RFK Jr. does lean so heavily into the conspiracy stuff, because otherwise, a lot of his political views are pretty solid. But the guy is just a kook when it comes to…literally everything else.

The date trump got shot was my birthday. We were on our way to a birthday dinner for me when my friend pulled out her phone and said "omg trump got shot." Honestly a pretty good birthday gift.

what a major example of naivety to say that Tech was not political until 2024, looking into where charities donations go and the huge amount of money that goes in to lobbying, as well as all the examples of government interference on social platforms to take only a certain political bias, I would even argue the first example of showcasing their power and wealth to try to change how the government works was Disney and Bob Chapek and Bob Iger both making challenges to the Florida Government, and then introducing specific views for political reasons in their shows and parks.

The pride flag has had to be updated due to the exlusionary practices of so many who have used the original version. People are always going to have to mark themselves in a new way to show their compassionate stance if the symbols we use to identify our groups are championed by members more invested in ego and ignorance than compassion. This is not new, and it won't change soon at the rate we're going.

10:46 I don’t know. I’m the bestest bestest bestest alley ever!! I’m for sure the biggest alley. But I’m a straight CIS woman (I think) with a chromosome intersex condition. I don’t see myself as queer or tans. I’m a woman with an intersex condition. I’m not part of the LGBT community. I’m a member of the community, I’m an outsider who supports all queer, gay and trans identities but I’m not a member

"vice presidents have a tendency to fade into the background"

Bill Clinton's VP became the Democratic nominee for president in 2000.
George Bush's VP was pushing for Harris to win in 2024.
Barack Obama's VP became president in 2020.
Donald Trump's VP tried to run for president in 2024.
Joe Biden's VP became the Democratic nominee for president in 2024.

I expect the pride flag changing again to be a sign of the downfall of the movement. One of the big parts of the reason Elon became political was cause his son got groomed into becoming trans. This kinda story is common whenever the tolerance for this kinda stuff gets too lax. It happened in Weimar Germany and it was ended brutally because things got that bad.

Intersex individuals forming the largest segment of the LGBTQ+ flag is a powerful reminder of the importance of recognizing all identities, even the least acknowledged. It symbolizes that in our journey for equity and understanding, we must build from the foundation up, embracing every step along the way.
