INFO: INFO: Styx is an American rock band from Chicago that formed in 1972 and became famous for its albums released in the late 1970s and early 1980s. “The Grand Illusion”. “Pieces of Eight” and “Paradise Theatre” are considered to be some of their best albums. “The Mission” is their sixteenth studio album so far.

Iām new to this album. Bought it 2 weeks ago. Where has this band been hiding. Iām 57 and I have now found my favourite album. Thank you for your excellent review

Styx, always beautifully deep lyrics but somehow extremely accessible at the same time.

the grand illusion is one of the best albums ever made…..10 out of 10.

Five more platinum albums (US) actually, as the much maligned 'Kilroy Was Here' also went platinum. š Nice vid! Listening to the album on 70s pristine vinyl I just picked up.

Ha,ha…why am I saying this, that?? Writers block maybe…?. you are using the word "genres" a lot, sorry had to say it! Still it is a fine review. Nice to show the picture of the filming in Amsterdam.
Back to Styx , this is a good album but, somehow I always liked Pieces of Eight more.
p.s. I made some adjustments on the comment top 10 underground rock songs. You might like it!
