Great but it is referred to as football as it is played on foot not on horseback. A training game for foot soldiers. Hence it is or was a working class sport. All derivations are football even if the hands are used, only association football (soccer) removed the use of the hand from all but two players. Rugby, Australian, Gaelic, American all are versions of football.

Quick history lesson, soccer in Europe was originally called soccer,they changed it to football around the 1970s. It is very weird but it was done while England was differentiating its language from others, specifically from the US. And they say we got the wrong football.
