Our world is sleep-deprived. In the last century, people slept an average of nine hours per night. Today, more than half the world’s population gets by on less than seven hours of sleep per night. But in an age of non-stop stimuli, what do you expect?

The people who are around me are unemployed. I work 2 jobs. 7 days a week. They always want me to come hang out after work and none of them understand that I can’t live on 3-5 hours of sleep.

I have a 6 month old. I get MAYBE 4 or 5 hours of seep per night. Before the baby came we slept between 9 and 13 hours a day. So, If you like sleep, don't have kids.

And then someone would close their eyes and actually fall asleep and wake up feeling better than normal, they would start to sleep more often for the feeling, eventually telling others and then everybody would start doing it again. Soon, they’ll need sleep after years.

EMPLOYERS TAKE NOTE. THINK OF YOUR WORKFORCE. YOU WOULD GET MORE FROM THEM IF YOU WOULDN'T WORK THEM TO THE BONE AND RECOGNISE THE IMPORTANCE OF SLEEP!

Fact: In Vietnam , there is a man who has never slept for over 45 years . His name is Thái Ngọc( u can search in Wikipedia) . According to VIetnamnets, he started not sleeping in 1973 after having a " fire" night with his wife, maybe that causes a kind of hormone that kept him unable to sleep and awake . But some say that his illness was not caused by any clear reasons . Despite not sleeping for that a long time , he is still healthy and doing works as normal people . Until now, scientists have no idea about his illness

I don know about most of you but I hate sleeping if that makes sense… I feel like we eventually, waste more time already and sleeping makes it worse… Honestly, if I could choose, I'll work more and spend more time with family and friends and make new memories. But with that said, I also know how important it is to sleep… to let body recover and not only from stress but to reflect on your life from time to time… So moral of the story is just sleep… Because you won't make any sense. (Writing this after being awake for 33 hours straight)

Also, my comment Is stupid… And exactly that's my point.
