What a fantastic interview! Dave is so relaxed and open, very insightful, intelligent, and funny. I have been diving deeper into to the catalog after finally seeing DMB live at The Gorge and I’m blown away by the songwriting. The complex simplicity and the unique spins Dave adds both musically and vocally is so special! Truly one of a kind and such a gift to the world.

Crash into me has always been one of my favorite songs. Now, as I am going through a divorce, career change, and so much more, it makes me yearn for that feeling again.

😂 Dave, conquering is the way it’s always been done. There is no other way.
Humans are selfish (including you and I) and this will never change. It’s natural to want. Some want way more than what they actually deserve but what’s a guy to do? You are simply another pissed off liberal.
I love your music but I’m gonna stop there. 🤧🙄

How's he just not going to talk about Boyd Tinsley. Boyd is such an integral member of the band especially during live shows, Dave and Boyd jams were glorious. I still find it hard to go to concerts without Boyd and Leroi. Will def get tickets next tour though.

2:28… starts with the snare, then you find out the snare is on the down beat… then the snare goes away to let the lyrics and the band breath… so simple and yet so genius and different!
