What If You Could Shrink to the Size of an Atom?
What if you could shrink yourself down to the size of 1 mm (0.04 in), about the size of a frog’s egg? Actually no, there too many creepy crawly predators, so let’s go smaller. What if you shrunk to 10 micrometers (0.0004 in), the size of an animal cell? That’s pretty cool, but I think we can go even smaller. How about 100 nanometers (0.000004 in), the size of a virus? That’s better, but we’re not in the mood to be swallowed by white blood cells. So let’s keep going. What if you shrunk to 1 angström, the size of the atom?

oh boy… thats not what will happen….here its what it will happen…..when you are shrink to atom size….who bothers about food or body temperature shit…..when atom itself is smallest unit of matter….how on earth can you image having all the lungs and stomach… but its ok…lets say we are shrink to atom size with all the body parts intact….but am 100% sure that there wont be any food to feed….still then no worries….we will be revolving around the nucleus along with electron…somtime along with electron and proton we will be passed through scientific lab test….and there scientist will be baffle to discover unknown new component in atom. But if we are lucky enough we will be doing social service by lighting the electricity along with friend electron. There can be another story….we may become friends with virus and other disease cuasing pathogen and bring the horrendous epidemic to the health of human, animal and plants becouse there is no other means than to feed on them….. Again there is another story how it will turn around….since we are supper tiny….there is no way we can be on the ground….we will be constantly flying in the spaces …even beyond our observable universe…..and thats what i would very much loved to be there…..am better off with Alien…lol

I like to have an explanation of what you've said that as we shrink, the surface area of our lungs would be larger than the volume of our lungs. Why is that so?
