WATCH: Grand Traverse leaders give update after Walmart stabbing leaves 11 injured
Grand Traverse County Officials & Munson Healthcare leaders are holding a press conference at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27, after a man stabbed 11 people at the Traverse City Walmart on Saturday evening.
Seven of the victims are in fair condition, Munson Healthcare said Sunday morning, and four remain in serious condition. None are in critical condition.
Grand Traverse County Sheriff Mike Shea, County Prosecutor Noelle Moeggenberg, Munson Medical Center President Joe Hurshe and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tom Schermerhorn will be at the briefing.

I think Michigan made a big mistake in their "kindness" in releasing Bradford Gille by dismissing charges via Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity, then what's next? Well, we know now what's next and 11 innocent citizens in Traverse City were attacked as a result. The Grand Traverse County Sheriff said "I'd rather not comment" and now we know why. Is there more? I'd say digging up individuals at a cemetery and mutilating the bodies is a good indicator Bradford Gille should've been locked up or at least closely monitored under psychiatric care. Who let him free? Who signed off and said "he's good to hit the streets"???

I believe they all including our State Police officers did a great job. They answered the call within 3 minutes and quickly called in trama units to help the victims. Their investigation was professional and they were able to collect evidence to put the assailant in jail hopefully permanently. ❤

Michigan lawmakers will now go about passing a new law to make sure that armed citizens can no longer terrorize nonviolent stabbers. Gretchen Whitmer will gladly sign it into law.
