Can you just imagine that poor poor cat, being stuck in a burning building for a couple hours?!?! I saw another one of these mini episodes with Mia and her family and I think the mom said that the firefighters couldn’t find Mia, she was all stressed out hiding under a bed or something! They finally found her when she got so unbelievably scared that she started screaming out in terror! They finally found her in a back bedroom where the fire was raging in the back part of the house, and she got so scared she was screaming out for help. They finally got her out and put an oxygen mask on her, then because of the whole chaos of the situation, everyone had to bunk in different places for a while, so Mia had to go to a pet boarding place, then go live at a vets office, then back to the boarding place, then she had to go stay at some friends house, while the family was finally able to get a hotel of something. But eventually (after the home got rebuilt and everything) THEN Mia was able to,come home, after the horrors of the fire, then being bounced around for quite a while…then months later she was finally able to come home. My lord, that poor little beautiful soul, after everything she had been through, no wonder she had MAJOR PTSD!!!

I have PTSD and even with A LOT of knowledge and professional help, it's still a very debilitating disorder. I can only imagine what it must feel like for an animal who doesn't know what's wrong and can't communicate. Poor Mia.

I wish you would upload a version of the show without the amplified and added cat fight hissing and screaming sounds. I want to watch more but those sounds cause my cats to fight and get on edge.

I have to wonder if there's still the odor of a fire left around there somewhere. Cats are very sensitive to odors. I've been around cats since my birth. I'm 69 y/o and have 3 cats.

Really odd place to cut off the video. Honestly I was more annoyed with the family than the cat. Of course she was stressed after the fire and somehow it took a stranger to point that out? I did not feel any caring for the cat from the family at all. As if she was just an accessory and not part of the family.

As someone who's family has a dog with PTSD, I can totally understand how hard it is to deal with. Fortunately, at least from this video, it seems that this family have managed to be very successful in dealing with their cat's issues. For us, it has taken years and problems still flare up from time to time but our dog is so much better than when he first arrived, most people would have gone the route of euthanasia rather than deal with the catastrophic behavioural issues he had when we first got him.
