TIktok ruined Tiktok. its a gross cesspool of main character syndrome narcissists and braindead entertainment in the form of "content" that is terrible for you in every way.

Honestly the amount of things I've seen being bought out sold at around 25-45 and I see it go straight to things like wish or temu and find it for like 0.50p I don't understand how people are genuinely getting scammed and are just totally fine with it…

Everyday I’m horrified by the fact that before I met my best friend, he saw me on a YouTube compilation of cosplayers. We were friends for about a year, I showed him an old video as a joke, and he said “oh, I recognize that room”
I’ve never been the same man.

The live stream selling is just the modern version of the live TV shows of people buying things by calling the number on their screen. lol South Park and Stan’s grandpa buying fake stuff for a lot of money exposed it more to me🥴

I think tiktok shop wouldn't be bad if it was regulated better. The thing is we live in (no matter where your go) in a consumer society. So the point of it is to promote but its not regulated like those that open up IRL. They have no real rules cause its a different platform and can't be regulated by like the FDA or such. There is a lot of thing and I know this is a hot take.. its not TikToks fault to a point. Its mostly people.. who take advantage of it and like thats been in history for a long time. If you got a platform to promote and make quick money.. you can best bet people will use it, but people will blame the site rather than blame the one who did the video.. but it should be both. I know people dont want the US government to take over Tik Tok.. and I do not want it either but they are also not doing things to regulate.

Its on the person seelling the product and the platform both

On one hand, I think creators really should be able to make a living from what they do. I’ve supported people on patreon and kofi, I’ve rewatched “watch this twice so I can afford x” videos, and I think that we as an audience get better content when creators can afford to like… eat and stuff.

However, anytime you make a platform easily monetizable, you immediately attract people who want to make the least original, most low effort content to try and get in on it. It’s an endless cycle beginning with creators getting thousands of views while still being unable to afford rent or food, then eventually turning into a system where you can’t go five seconds without seeing the most low effort video parroting the exact same item/sponsorship without any sort of quality content attached

I got blocked twice by a seller for calling them out for using an audio recording to sell items. They claimed they weren't and started to vocalize the sale again and he blocked my original account I commented on. So I logged into my Band's account and went back to the page and sat and waited. He obviously put the audio back on, and I called him out again saying something to the effect of "I F***EN KNEW YOU WOULD PLAY IT AGAIN", which I was swiftly blocked again. Good times.

I did a whole vid about this on TikTok today and I found an account (British memes) and I kid you not they are constantly advertising this stupid vimto protein shit (17 videos) and then a saw another where a guy said “81p for one serving” did the math and it was £16.20 but the product was £26…. Like they have to make another app or do something to make it stop because with tiktok getting banned in the USA and this whole mess nobody is going to be using the app anymore LOL

How stupid people are I’ve considered creating one of those gold brick things that have like a diamond in them and I won’t be fine because I keep buying Herkimer, diamonds post, worthless kind

Because of Dan Aykroyd can claim that his crystal skull tequila is filtered through diamonds because they’re Herkimer diamonds

My people are so stupid once that you’re diamonds, they think expensive

Into marketing being try to market your product is someone who can afford it?

No marketing is shame. The customer is not having enough money to buy your product.
And use manipulative tactics to trick them to find the product with gambling and fo mo

And the thing that bothers me the most is that people still fall for it

Look at how advertising campaigns in 64 they will tell you how the product work what problem is solved in what demographic it’s marketed towards
Now you have a literal fuck, didn’t make up market it towards everybody and if you can’t afford it, it’s not the make up creators. Making oversize make up if you’re fault for being poor
And that’s some thing I constantly be seen with a lot of small businesses where they either directly or indirectly shame there, consumer into buying their product

    Dropshiping is ruining small businesses
Because all of these drop shippers, I’m getting pushed to the front of the advertise but people who make handmade product and create your own small little business hidden from the algorithm

I’m someone who support small businesses and believe in supporting small businesses but Dropshipping is not a small fucking business it is a unnecessary Up cost
Because why am I going to pay $14 for an item that I can get on Amazon for 10?
Why am I going to pay $24 including shipping for something I can get on Amazon for $10
Dropshiping is absolutely stupid. The only thing that makes sense for dropshiping is things that Amazon doesn’t sell, but most of the apes I drop supercell is Amazon items

The reason why we like compilations of the exact name reason why TikTok is successful, is because you can watch tons of short form videos without much effort
Because compilations you put on 30 minutes of 7 second videos
