    This could have been a substantial contribution. The decision to strawman is unfortunate because I think the point could have been made even steel manning thus making it valid. Like this itโ€™s only a rant, a fallacy that happens to be true

    Just six months ago this would be considered a fringe conspiracy theory, today it is clearly out in the open. Neo-liberal/Neo-conservative mercantilist/imperialist philosophy on steroids thanks to tech-bros and social media. MAGA useful idiots (Neo-cons) and naive liberals (Neo-libs) are complicit now that it is openly taking place. But of course they are all locked into their viewpoints pit against one another like helpless puppets.

    In the US, private equity and other private (and corporate) financial institutions have been buying up crucial industries like medical care and pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, insurance, box stores, real estate, even trailer parks, farms and farmland, American national debt, and leading privatization of the US government through a hostile takeover orchestrated by private finance going back more than fifty years probably starting in earnest by the Nixon administration (e.g., the โ€˜Nixon Shockโ€™ with Kissinger whispering sweet nothings in their ears). Accelerated by Reagan and unabated through Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump, and Biden private finance has been continuing to take power. The final push is by the MAGA movement (with Thiel whispering sweet nothings in their ears), together with their personal army (ICE) and now a move to nationalize (i.e., nationalize means privatize these days) the war machine, we are looking at the full privatization of the US government and its military.

    The tariffs, ICE, and moves to dollar based privately managed crypto systems to replace the US government/IMF dollar based hegemony were not even meant to work. They are working as intended to weaken the dollar and the American economy to facilitate the final buying of US farms, industry, and government services by private equity. As I understand it, JD Vanceโ€™s own private equity and his crony private firms and corporation are buying up all the failed family farms being exacerbated by these tariffs and ICE taking away their workers playing MAGA useful idiots against naive liberals. And the implementation of AI-based surveillance is becoming mainstream now. Diabolical.

    When I read details about this accelerationist philosophy, I think this is a parallel of what Lenin did to Marxism – yeah, let's skip a few steps and a few millenia and enforce the transformation into communism.
    When I read details about the Yarvis bullshit about the smart start-up entrepreneur who will run the state best, I think about Plato and his notion that the state should be run by philosophers.
    These smartasses would fail a political philosophy class 1.01 and believe themselves to be gods of intellects.
