Grand Traverse sheriff seeks terrorism charges for man after Walmart stabbing
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office is requesting Bradford Gille, 42 of Afton Michigan, be charged with terrorism and 11 counts of assault with intent to murder after a stabbing at the Traverse City Walmart Saturday.
Sheriff Mike Shea at a Sunday press conference said Gille has a history of assaultive incidents and controlled substance violations. Shea described the weapon as a 3.5 inch folding knife.
Shea alongside County Prosecutor Noelle Moeggenberg, Munson Medical Center President Joe Hurshe and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tom Schermerhorn held a briefing Sunday.
Moeggenberg said her office is looking to authorize charges Monday.
Schermerhorn said one victim has been released from the hospital. 10 remain in the hospital’s care.

It's time for this Country to charge Prosecutors and DA's with weapons violations if a violent crime gets committed from a none bail repeat offender under that Prosecutors release. If the government can prosecutes parents for the crimes of their charges, so too should governments officials be held to that same stander.

Hey Sheriff Shea. How about adding, or even better, beginning the list of people and agencies you thanked with the names of the two civilians who actually apprehended and restrained the perpetrator for police? Your active dismissal and obvious omission of their names from your list tells an important story about your disdain for those two very brave men. Shame on you!
