The bill would represent the largest cut to Medicaid since it was created in 1965 and could lead to loss of coverage for millions of Americans, in part due to new work requirements that would add onerous red tape to the program.

Actually I believe that he was referring to medicare. Medicaid is usually determined by the state. I agree with that there needs accountability.

These people have no business on Medicaid, and it's s big expense . It's the biggest expense for the state of ohio . Plus these cuts cut the deficit and cuts interest paid on the debt.

Medicaid gets the worst health outcomes at a higher cost. Medicaid patients drink and smoke more, are more drug addicted, and are more obese, more diabetic, and more asthmatic than other patients. Medicaid patients are much more likely to us expensive emergency room visits for their routine health care. Hospitals can go bankrupt from the excessive losses from their emergency due to Medicaid patients clogging up their emergency rooms.
Medicaid reimbursements are pitifully low, leaving others to pay the bill. Medicaid fraud is much more than private health insurance.
People should try to get a job and buy private insurance and take responsibility for their own health care.

Get a job; buy private health insurance; and you will have better health outcomes, and health care provider will be reimbursed a lot more. Private health insurance has much less fraud than Medicaid. Medicare advantage patients have better health outcomes than traditional Medicare, has less fraud, and usually provide more benefits.
Medicaid gets the worst health outcomes in major surgeries, even worse than the uninsured. Medicaid patients arrive at the hospital sicker and harder to treat, stay longer, cost more to treat, and once released, are more likely to be readmitted. Medicaid patients are more obese, more diabetic, more asthmatic, smoke and drink more, and are more drug addicted than other patients.
After Medicaid expansion through ACA, life expectancy in the US declined for 3 successive years due to increased mortality among young adult to drug overdoses. Medicaid patients are more likely to waste health care resources such as using emergency room visits for routine health care instead of using doctor office visits or urgent care.

There was never any outrage when Black people lost benefits. It was encouraged. Remember the infamous & very FAKE welfare queen? Remember her? YOU PEOPLE STILL TALK ABOUT IT AS THOUGH IT WERE REAL. It's now widely known that the people who've ALWAYS benefited the most are White people, YOU are the welfare queens. The country hides its welfare benefits behind Black faces. Now everyone is in an uproar because Trump is applying cuts to EVERYONE!!!!! Deal with it, I don't care.

Thanks I'm bipolar 1 and will become psychotic if i can't sleep for 3 days. Now i can finally go full blown psychotic and enjoy my afterlife without any hospitalization. It will be beautiful. Can't wait. I knew my medication won't last forever. I'm so thankful that i will have a natural bipolar life and live with active psychosis in my able bodied and no job life.

From my experience in a nation with a minimal safety net, where every able-bodied individual and even those with disabilities work within their capacities to secure any benefits, the conditions for Medicare strike me as entirely reasonable. This approach, I believe, will empower individuals to discover their potential to contribute to our society, cultivate a sense of achievement, and ensure that financial assistance is directed precisely to those who genuinely require it.

I read a lot of horror stories here about people losing coverage. However, the bill’s just been signed and the ink hasn’t dried yet, so why blame these on this new bill? Doesn’t that mean Medicaid is already broken even before this bill was signed?
