This is exactly the same over optimistic mindset we had when nuclear energy became a thing yet we see cases such as Chernobyl and Fukushima and how devastating they were to humanity.

Computers are very intricate machines that will never be truly intelligent until we find a way for them to create a truly random number. They can only generate semi-random numbers based off of a clock tick “seed” at the present.

Even with predictive AI! GIGO. These predictions can and often are incorrect or have no meaningful bearing. None can predict genius

Dither, Dither, Dither. On hiring and HR specifically, on that of discerning candidates, this sort of selection routine has been ensuing for nigh on 20 years. The only advantage of employing AI is the hiring process is now expedited, but as to the mean and measure for rating and determining the quality of a candidate ~~ well ~~ AI can add little or nothing to the objective or to the value because above all, the candidates are human beings, not 2-dimensional implements whereof one machine measures out still another machine.
To yield a superior outcome, nothing equals that of one human being painting out the merits of another human being, which is to say that being humans can only be measured by human beings, not automatons and via the use of employing robotic methods, wherein accuracy and precision are elements that do not and cannot prove qualities constituting human 'beingness.'
An AI model will prove no less bias because the programming will have at first proved programmed 'by' human beings.
Such machination proves added mass, ay baggage, which defeats the original purpose for which using AI was intended to avail in the first place: viz., economy, ay the best means and process to yield any a sought-for result.
Indeed, what sense is there in paying 50 dollars for an object whose duplicate can be had for 50 cents, ay in which the two prove identical to each other in every aspect, form, and expression — where's the economy in that?

It should be referred to as Algorithmic Intelligence (ai or ALi) rather than Artificial Intelligence (AI or ARi).

Future court cases will involve this type of technology. A camera/mic will be sitting in the court room watching and listening to the accused feeding data to the defense or prosecution team. • During sentencing the AI will assist in determining the punishment. The AI will assist a jury in sorting out the truth. And after enough trials we won't need anyone present. Someone will sit in an empty room and be questioned by the AI. The AI will be the judge, jury, defense and prosecution using all of the data on the planet as a resource. It will sort everything out better than humans….or will it. Will we then be second on the food chain beneath AI since they will be so much smarter than us, able to solve problems, create entertainment, grow food, prepare food, do surgery, better, faster, and more efficient?

In regards to the Algorithm trying to compute and calculate weather patterns, I leave that up to me to track on my own b/c it's like Mother Nature senses that we've been given foresight as to what's going to happen and when. For instance where I am, "Expect %40 chances of Rain Showers by the Afternoon", afternoon rolls around and it's Snow.

The final statement refutes the title. She implies that all the computers do is to make correlations, not predictions.
