Genetic Engineering Will Change Everything Forever – CRISPR
Designer babies, the end of diseases, genetically modified humans that never age. Outrageous things that used to be science fiction are suddenly becoming reality. The only thing we know for sure is that things will change irreversibly.

wont this snatch away the most important thing we have "individuality" and what if the kids sue their parents for making them modify the way they themselves dont want? it is good that we are born the way we are is by pure chance it makes life colourful

Islam means freeing yourself from servitude to all creation and worshiping Allah alone—calling upon none but Him, and repenting by making a covenant with Him directly, without any intermediary.
Islam is the faith of all the prophets—it is pure monotheism—believing in all of them, with the last being Muhammad, righteous and noble.
Islam is your path to Paradise, where the joy is beyond anything eyes have seen, ears have heard, or hearts have imagined—where there is no death, no illness, no conflicts, and no sorrow of any kind.

13:50 North Korea? Are you serious? What about the Swedes who sterilized Untermenschen? Or the united Europe that burned and poisoned Untermenschen? Or the US, which burned Asian forests and, wait a second, dropped atomic bombs on civilians? If economic genocide doesn’t work, direct destruction will. And the ones to blame are the countries trying to defend themselves against economic and military threats by any means necessary. What if this video said: Imagine what would happen if the US or another capitalist country, willing to do anything for superprofits, got their hands on Übermenschen—while the Senate justified it with speeches about the existential threat from communists. Any excuse to seize resources. I wonder, are there any videos here about critical thinking?

Thank you for the clear explanation.
The first thoucht popping up in my mind: Why on earth would we wish to extend our life on this already fallen world. The eternal life which science so desperately seeks already exisis inside us all. After this amazing holiday we call 'life' our Creator and His Son will welcome us home with open arms.
The second one: why would we prefer to conceive babies with certain features over any others? Are not all humans beautiful in their own way? Since when is appearance considered all that matters? It is not! Our personality makes us human, no matter in which package it is wrapped.
We humans have brilliant minds when it comes to science. A large part of us can life a long, healthy life thanks to medical science, which is fantastic.
Now we crossed tht thin line between life saving inventions and creating our own, abominable version of human life. Our Creator God programmed our very life into our DNA, our code of life. In His infinite love and knowledge, He sure did what is best for us and all future generations. Yet we foolish humans hacked Gods sacred code and adapted it to what we consider a good thing in our still so limited viewpiont, being ignorant of so many possible consequences in the near or distant future.
I pray to our Lord to stop it and save humanity of its downfall while it's not yet too late. May He bless you all, friends!

Genetic engineering is the only thing that can save the human race. Since 99pc of people are no longer subject to natural selection and survival of the fittest, we have become a weak and sickly species. It will only get worse until GM is perfected.

My one problem with drastic life-span extension is how we'd perceive the passage of time. When we're very young time feels as if it moves fairly slowly, since we seem to experience the present at a relative pace proportional to time we've already lived. A two-year old's second birthday feels is very far from his first, as the time spent getting from 1 to 2 literally took the length of his entire life from birth to 1. But from 2 to 3 is only half of his life from 0 to 2. By 40 each year is only 1/40 the length of the preceding ones, and the accumulating years continue becoming smaller fractions of our lives up until that point. I remember past summers seeming to last much longer than they do now. Days, weeks and seasons all seem shorter. If you ask extreme elders – 90 and above – they say days go by like a flash. What would 200 years old be like, when each year feels a mere 1/200th the length of each of those that preceded it? It's also possible that youth feels longer because of all the vast variety of novel experiences – first words, steps, friends, loves, jobs, etc. After 50 how many unexplored frontiers are there? Of course, that maybe the key. Keep doing new stuff and living for centuries might be worthwhile. Or, maybe they'll develop means to erase huge chunks of time so we get to live through things we've already done for the first time all over again. All right, I'm back on board with immortality.
