is this all there is? Is a really good question for everyone to ask. some people never give up and get closer to the answer, and some people don't, and even worse some people never even ask the question in the first place. Never stop searching for the answer, i know i have found it and i'm glad.

That hole in you and that emptiness you feel, is that God-sized hole, only filled by God Himself and through having a relationship with Him. This world, this life here on earth is not all there is. This life is not just a journey, there is a destination ahead for those who seek it. This present moment can't be held onto. And to find ourselves, to find our identity, we (creation) have to look to our creator first. Precisely why we are dissatisfied with life is because we were not meant to be satisfied with the here and now

I’ve thought abt that question a lot, though there has only been one time where it truly consumed my mind and sent me into a panic attack. The best thing you can do is just accept it, chill, and try to make the most of your time here.

this materialistic "were nothing but matter" monolith most modern philosophy falls into proves to be ironically the biggest stumbling block for finding a reason to live and has lead to the fundamental decay of our social fabric as an unnacountable technocracry takes control of more and more aspects of our lives. whos to say the gnostics weren't any less right in saying that we are eternal souls waiting to find true justice and satisfaction in the afterlife? because contrary to what you might imply as evidenced by the response to the covid farce, the fear of death provides the most insidious means of fooling a person than the lack of it ever could.

I’ve come to accept that life is a series of journeys to anticlimaxes and that regardless of this knowledge I will live for the anticlimax every time. It’s all we’ve got to live for, really.

Well I usually just take what people say with a healthy dose of skepticism like we only ever joke about our existence and so irony would be what I have fallen in love with in this life

Some perspectives on life after 68 years…..
Men have never been truly free for the simple fact that no one was ever consulted before being born.

Life is like a prison and death is the only escape.

Death may be the greatest of all human blessings.

In life, I am a spectator more than a participant. And the shitshow gets more entertaining with every passing day.

Let my actions speak for me.

I am disturbed not by things, but by the view which I take of them.( I can choose to be disturbed or not.)

Make the best use of what is in my power, and take the rest as it happens.

Know, first, who I am and then handle myself accordingly.

My opinions matter to no one but me.

It's not what happens to me, but how I react to it.

Most of life is outside of my power. So, it is best to remain indifferent to those things and focus on the few things I DO control.

Do the best I can and don't take life too seriously.

    Mind my own business.

The only thing I have to fear is fear itself.

    Fear can be a prison.

My desires can be merciless rulers.

One Universal meaning to life, that I can see, is that it is here to be enjoyed.

Another universal meaning to life could be that we are searching for ways to distract us from thinking about the fact that life is terminal.

In the end, nothing REALLY matters.
