How the West Is Making It Rain, With Science

A method of boosting snow and rainfall may help ease drought conditions in the western US.

Cloud seeding techniques boost clouds’ ability to drop precipitation by releasing particles that attract water, making it easier for water droplets or snowflakes to form.

These LA wildfires need rain. If we can control or predict weather calamity… wouldn't that be better than building $billion dollar rockets for fun? Just saying.

I frickin knew it! I reside in colorado and two days ago… Three feet of snow. Today, its 65 degrees? Ya. Something IS NOT RIGHT. Because of this, Ohio's cataclysmic weather change two days ago can also thank them. WE ARE SCREWED.

I just wonder how much energy goes into producing the silver iodine solution. How is it produced? Is it worth it in the long term to change the weather temporarily if there are carbon emissions involved in the process producing the silver iodine solution?

Geoengineering is the proper term for this and it's obviously a dangerous game being played without knowledge of the future impacts or care for it's potential weaponization. The ego of man is terrifying, that anyone thinks they're trustworthy with this power is inconceivable to me.

You are so beyond knowing what is going on that even I cannot help you. I feel sorry for you because you have so much to learn in so little time . . . but I will try. Look into solar radiation management and stratospheric aerosol injection systems . . . aka chemtrails Dane Wiggi ton is a fairly good place to start . . .

The 2023 Atmospheric river was caused by theVEI 7+ volcanic eruption in Tonga. This cooled the ElNono in the Pacific and directed the wind patterns to the Bering Sea where it impacted the northern Jet Stream. Causing excessive rains and snow in the West and pushing yhe Jet Stream to the east causing wild winter weather across the country.

The channel Reactions sent me here. Great video! Just been reading about the effect of the Sahara desert dust affecting the rainfall in Amazônia, is that some sort of cloud seeding somehow?

Clouds help keep earth cool by blocking sunshine from the earth surface. Dropping clouds warms the earth. They've been doing it 70 years, China seeds area bigger than India, and more than 58 countries are dropping clouds. Climate change is partially caused my manmade weather modification but that's never discussed. Thanks for making this video.

China is using drones with lasers and Boeing made a ray gun to seed clouds instead of using chemicals. It would be a good subject for another video.

This will be nuclear power all over again. People will complain out of conspiracy theory driven paranoia. We HAVE to find ways to mitigate the effects of global warming because it's coming much faster than we ever anticipated. Just take a look at Greenland over the last year. It isn't good. We not only impact the weather already in a million different ways (mass deforestation for one) we are practically teraforming our planet through industry. Seeding clouds is the least of our worries.
