Well it probably doesn't help that TCM got accepted by the WHO. I remember reading that it was discussed to be added in the late 2010s and thinking that it was unacceptable. While they tried to backtrack it doesn't really hold water because there was no real reason to include it in the global diagnostic compendium. It was clearly a position bought by CN.
I'm definitely NOT saying that I'm anti vaccine, just that WHO was losing trust long before covid happened.

Snake oil nothing company still has a market cap of ~$50million, concidered to be completly neglible and fair, no one bats an eye to it, in fact theres a thousand more just like it, thats how crooked the nasdaq is.

Uhh, you're placing a bit too much confidence in the Chinese medical system(and educational system I suppose), people still absolutely do try to treat themselves with traditional medicine in place of going to real doctors for serious issues.
As much as holistic medicine is an issue in the west, it's even worse in China with how pervasive it is in the culture, especially with the government quietly supporting things like acupuncture despite research proving it's just placebo.
