Which one is your Aunt Cindy? I remember a story you told about her in the podcast where you all went and saw Beauty and the Beast and when Beast turned back she said “uh I don’t like his nose” that anecdote always makes me chuckle when I think about it

If you learn nothing else about cooking; know this: there’s an average of fifteen knives in a butcher block set that you purchase in any average department store in America.🇺🇸
They make that many different shapes and sizes of knives for a reason. Don’t use a steak knife to chop anything. You need a chef’s knife or a paring knife for cutting your veggies 🥦!!!!? You need to slice and dice, not tear and scrape….. and please it’s balance! Cooking is basically zen in a pan….
You are striving to balance sweetness to spice and saltiness and bitterness. You want Goldie locks at all times….
Cooking everything needs to be just right. Not too crunchy, and not too dry. You are balancing moisture content and raw ground meat is sacrilegious, where was your extra sauce for moisture and you need ricotta to be traditional……
