I encountered your Peter Thiel episode podcast because YouTube suggested it to me and I took a chance. I agree with everything you said about him. However, I've learned in the past 5 years that you can agree with someone on one issue and be completely on opposite sides of another.

I'm a single, childless woman by choice. I lived for 38 years in New York City and I moved to Los Angeles 14 years ago. I was a Democrat up until 2016 when I left the party because they're true agenda became painfully clear. Let me also state that I do not support the Republican party nor the Orange Man, either.

The way you speak about the red states–as if people who lived there were chained and could not leave of their own accord–speaks to the broken identity politics of the left, one of the main reasons I could no longer be a part of it. For the record, I do not support the governor of CA nor the mayor of my city. If I didn't love the weather so much I'd move to Idaho or Montana. Red states appeal more to the libertarian in me even though I might not agree with all of their policies. At least they don't cast you out if if you don't agree with them like the left.

I'm not sure if you're aware that there are plenty of disaffected Democrats and Republicans who no longer believe in political parties because we see them only as a convenient way to divide the people into ideological camps that only benefit the oligarchs. The system has been so thoroughly corrupted that no reform can happen from within. And both parties seek the same thing anyway: one world governance.

At least we agree on Peter Thiel. He is the Antichrist.

I read a research article in the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) that there is an association between birth control restrictions and infant mortality rates. The more restrictive the abortion laws, the higher the infant mortality rate. Therefore, anti-abortion is also anti-baby. Because my daughter is still trying to have a family, she and her husband are living in California until their family is complete. At that point, they would like to return home, which is a red state, because where we live would provide a better lifestyle. However, it is very important for her to have good reproductive care, which is more available in California than at home.

Women shouldnt enlist because depraved cynical government.
Way to let your class flag fly, gals!

White middle class "feminists" who havent internalized intersectional realities of being female in America. Surprise!

Your "news" is covered by insightful, and amused folks elsewhere – i thought your show was at least in some part for folks who mainline mainstream media. Or something.

When women fantasizing girl-on-girl violence for cheap laughs hurts, i dont fear for my sense of humor. You have options.

I’d love to hear more about you guys’ thoughts on the birth rate decline, and the “male loneliness epidemic,” especially as it relates to things like domestic labor inequality, weaponized incompetence, the second shift, entrenched gender roles (even among couples who otherwise consider themselves progressive), etc. I’ve heard snippets of these elements in your conversations before, and I’d love to hear more about it from you guys if you were ever to want to dive into it!

Thank you so much for your work, and for keeping me sani 🙂

We need to always remember the core beliefs that drive the largest, best funded cohort in MAGA. It is a belief that the end of world is inevitable and will occur in a few years. They want this to happen! The apocalypse begins a system of rewards. Promise to them and fundamentalist Christianity. They believe in 1,000 years of turmoil and trauma, where most of humanity will become Christian, and the rest of Humanity will be doomed to suffer forever in a lake of fire. I am not being hyperbolic. This is what they believe. I went to these churches as a child in Houston. Consequently, accelerationism, moving the world towards collapse by fomenting a war between Arabs and Israelis is a good thing. Their belief system has become opposed to human life. This needs to be called out. They had no interest in compromising. They want the end of the world. Me however, I would like my children and my children's friends to have a chance to experience life itself. If there is a God, we all know he wants that too. He spent 5 billion years setting up the Earth to create us. He doesn't want to throw it away. Ideas matter.. their ideas are poisonous.

Regarding his fight with the Dems, many say that Greg Abbott doesn't have a leg to stand on. In fact he won't even consider walking through this turbulent time together, nor will he stand up for what's right. He needs to step it up. He can't walk away from this.

From Buffalo here. Gov. Kathy Hochul, thanks! And keep it up! No more Lucy and the football. I'm a family doc, and have 3 generations of family in Wyoming and Genesee counties dependent upon Section 8, Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP to get by. I'm worried about my elderly and low income patients, my LGBTQ+, immigrant, women, disabled, and veteran patients. So keep throwing metaphorical hands, skip the strongly worded letters, and slap some WNY sense and backbone into our senators and democratic reps, both congressional and state.

Just a general note of appreciation for the way you tell the truth about the people and issues shaping our insane world. I'm on a blue island in a red state and it's EXHAUSTING to deal with the misogyny, homophobia and racism.

This reversing Roe v Wade, jailing doctors is sooo backward. Christianity in America seems to be persecute LGBTQI etc ppl and make terminations illegal. What do these ppl do that actually is Christian?

I honestly can't wait for people to know what its like to genuinely be hungry and sick then remember they voted for this. Folks on the left will feel it too, so will those who didn't vote. Register, vote, and stop this from happening again.
