Though I totally understand why people hate on fake artists who took a shortcut, it still feels dumb. You can hate on musicians for basically everything: Not writing own songs, sounding commercial, copying another band or sound.
I think one should enjoy the music or not. If it is good and if not, it's not worth my time. I wonder which artist is genuinely honest? Aren't there always a public image and marketing moves?
I don't care too much about the artists behind the music. It can be a loss and I miss out certain aspects. Still I can enjoy the music and even if Clairo had help or not: I like her, I like her music, it has that special something I'm looking for. I could name you 100 probably not industry plants that don't do anything for me. The internet crowd is made up of stupid kids who love to spread hate.

I found her through pretty girl when it was recommended to me through Apple Music and then listened to more of her songs and eventually being obsessed with immunity whilst not knowing anything about her, honestly this album alone has helped me ridiculously much and I absolutely love it and have been listening to it for over a year now. this is the first time I've learned anything much about her since research overwhelms me but it's about time haha
