    The timing for the Arabs is very different from the timing in the West. We cannot force them to be like us. Let them do their changings just like we did ours. I also believe that the Arabs are extremely hypocrite.

    Thier happy with Thier religion and culture but not laws but the west don't get it they just think thier way is the right way. Many western countries what to westernize the east but have anyone heard a Eastern country criticizing western culture and saying we want to easternize them, no.

    In the 1980“s onward , we organised the First Riyadh SANG SING A SONG MUSIC FESTIVAL and the First Riyadh Local and Invitational Basketball Tournaments as Rest and Recresations Activities at the Saudi Arabia National Guard Headquarters, Maintenance and Operations Department in Riyadh.

    I’m quite shocked that people in the comments think a lot of the behaviour is cultural and fine. Women are totally controlled as to what they can do. Most women will never be able to leave Saudi because it is up to their father / brother / husband – basically, they are owned. And owning someone is never ok, regardless of your culture. Do you know, there has only been a ban on child marriage since 2020 and even so there are still loop holes to get round it. We have to stop saying these things are ‘cultural’ and ‘fine’. They are mental sickness.

    A country run by autocratic theocracy underpinned by robust religious tenets and old traditions isn't likely to be compatible with a liberal west. It is down to it's regnant regime to see this promised set of reforms through for improvement in living conditions , become open to social change going forward. Would think tapping into oil revenue may just aid the State to get the direction right. Obviously it is success is going to be judged based on implementation by international community. No formidable record so far by any country in the middle east to streamline their statecraft through reforms, bring it in line with the former. Any socio economic reform isn't a question of a galvanic change or some trenchant effort to purge or transform. But rather a matter of country's historic discourse pertained by diachronic development of the above which helps keep any effort in line with verisimilitude.

    Never been in Saudi Arabia but it seems great place to raise a family. People respect eachother unlikely in Europe. The saudis ive met that they were studying in EU were the most polite, humble people. Big hug to all saudis.

    Lets put beheading in its proper perspective. The last public beheading in France was conducted in 1939!! And France last beheading was in 1979!! She only abolished the beheading as punisment in 1982. Just 40 years ago. Yes the French dont call it beheading. They call it guillotine. Very sanitised.

    If i like saudi or not but this was misleading and a fabrication of truth so the level of living there very high and citizens are extremely happy with their situation they don't need a judgement of west but you can make a documentary abount the consequences of intervention of west in Africa especially south Africa.

    Saudi is the best place to work as a foreigner aslong you follow rules but the problem is a foreigner is hard to win a case here expecially to housemanagers or maids they don't have rights unless the boss is good or follows Saudi law

    'Chop-chop Square' is the official execution site, and the museum is a place where you find kings and princes portrait on displayed, no doubt it's rather an amusing experiences one can only found in Saudi Arabia.
