Fang Fang – the E8 to 4D Quasicrystal

Quantum Gravity Research | August 20, 2025

Quantum Gravity Research (QGR) head scientist Dr. Fang Fang discusses the E8 to 4D Quasicrystal as it relates to QGR’s work on Emergence Theory, a new quantum gravity theory deep in the works.

Presentation summary:

This lecture explains how the 4-dimensional quasicrystal (Elser-Sloane QC) is achieved with Hopf mapping from the E8 lattice.

Present: Quantum Gravity Research scientists Klee Irwin (director,) Raymond Aschheim, Amrik Sen, Aaron Marchant, Daniel Woolridge, Russ Gries, Arindom Saha, Dugan Hammock.

If you've watched this video and still need more science, check out our new film Hacking Reality!

Is there an 8-dimensional "engine" behind our universe? Join Marion Kerr on a fun, visually exciting journey as she explores a mysterious, highly complex structure known simply as 'E8'–a weird, 8-dimensional object that for some, strange reason, appears to encode within it all of the particles and forces of our 3-dimensional universe.

So very greatful you guys publish your work on YT even while it is raw. Just got back from a DMT trip where I was laughing at the physics doing the math in front of my experience (if you can call a DMT venture an experience). It's like I can feel it, yet that freaks out my science self & I find myself having to come back here to ground myself so I don't think I'm full goose bozo. You guys are awesome, love ya, tommyj

I am definitely older yet I remember this from theoretical readings when I was a teenager, so it makes me wonder how do we get older things that were written down, now, that everyone is using digital and the search outcomes are often lacking or completely misdirected. Now is should you ask if someone owns a pencil sharpener you get strange looks ? 🙂
Not that I do not appreciate Fang Fangs presentation and depictions.

to QGR: do you have any publications? – as it stands, I don't really understand this due to the jargon, but I have an intuitive feel that you may be on to something worth study. I would need a really basic book on this subject.
