The Most Valuable Fisher-Price Toys In History

Weird History | August 17, 2025

When it comes to classic toys, Fisher-Price is at the top of the list. Founded in 1930, the popular child’s toy line came to fame in the 1960s with their incredibly popular Little People line. These vintage Fisher-Price toys featured adorable little figures packed inside fun and educational playsets. While most of the toys were staples in households from the late ’60s up to the early ’90s, it turns out those old toys you used to play can sell for a pretty decent amount today.

The action garage… I thought first before the picture ”this will be cool to see, I was born 1990 so this is probably something I have never seen before”… now I am both upset that I know I did brake it by years and years of playing with it and curious about why I had such a vintage toy.

You said the first year of Little People was 1970….but then you showed a Little People playset from 1968. C'mon, what gives?😋lol ALSO: Do REAL little people enjoy the Little People playsets even more?

Idea #2: McDonald's should make a sticker point system for Happy Meals.

They could also use those points to buy a McDonald's play set or a Fisher-Price one…
(they could even put Fisher-Price Little People in for the toy).

In the mid 80s I spent a week In The hospital with a bad infection on the pediatric ward. They had about 3 sets of the entire fisher price collection and a ton of donated toys like transformers and games

A type of toysmith could be one who understand the industry of toys.

Dan Larson of the YT channel Secret Galaxy (used to be Toy Galaxy) really studies the trends and practices of the toy industry, he knows A LOT!

Brainstorming about the trade of a toysmith*†…while watching this Weird History video!
What a cool and valuable trade!

    * Inspired from the video history video "These Toys Were So Dangerous They Had To Be Banned"
† There seems to be a lot of people interesting in this trade…
