Baran was my favorite fight easily the rain around them is top tier the nuke uppercut just the whole thing was up there with demon slayer and the boros fight in terms of animation

This series gave me such mixed feeling.. its like the best world building and awesome mechanics in a story I've seen with the worst most boring main character ever who is op and just takes away from the cool world

I just love how, througout the series it only gets better.
The music in the battles is on-point the animation is great, but the fight with Beru, realy gave me goosebumps and had my adrenaline rushing

the ant king fight was probably one of the weakest in s2, tbh. Baran was a much better fight. Obviously the best fight ever was against igris, because igris is the best character in the entire show bar none.

"well for your information, all of the solo leveling battles had me on the edge of my seat. Because they are so awesome, they inspired me to enter the video game world of solo leveling!! Even if it means leveling up and becoming a one-man army plus an Infinity level boss on the battlefield!!!

i agree with this list. if it was my personal youd see numbers 1 and 2 swapped purely because the beru fight was less focused on his shadows and i love the focus scenes on igris, tank, etc

Yeah, I still believe Jinwoo vs Igris was the best fight so far. That's the only fight where it felt like he could lose, now he's just OP.

I maintain the kargalagan fight is better than the ant king one, just cuz it showcased more of the MC's shadows. But good list!

I think other animes could've made 100 episodes from these fights with the technique of trying out each side characters and they all loose and MC when he also almost looses, he remembers the power of friendship and dream and beats the enemy(in 10 episodes)

Jinwoo vs Baran as number 4 ?! Come on, not only does Baran make our friend sweat and fear a bit (way more than his other foes), he doesn't speak which makes it more intense I found, but also the way the rain is animated around the bodies as they fight is a real chef's kiss, not to mention the final punch and scream which concludes it perfectly … IMO the best fight of the series even if I loved the Beru fight, I thought it was mainly because of the high stakes after we saw him easily break any S rank
