    Ah, yes,…the Tesla Cybertruck has even reached my out-of-the-way neck of the woods, in the north-central U.S. of A.
    First of all, a local contracting firm uses one as a company vehicle, painted white with the firm's name and contact info. I've seen their ads here on YouTube.

    "You got money." You should listen to her because she answered your titular question. She's telling you it's a status symbol. It is why people buy it or anything else that is expensive yet not necessarily to sustain life. THAT is the entire point of the cyber truck. Pretentious and ostentatious compensation period

    Cybertruck is a status symbol of paying too much for a white elephant marriage of a DeLorean, a dishwasher and a Hummer.
    Populism sold over, style or simplicity.

    The last section of this video, has aged extremely poorly.

    My uncle was one of those non-online people that bought the truck merely because he thought it looked cool. He wasn't an Elon fan or anything, he just had money to spend for himself so he'd be confused why people who sees his truck would give him the thumbs down. He had to sell it when he got diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately, he passed away a few months after. He was a cool guy, RIP to him.
