Belle And Sebastian – 3…6…9 Seconds of Light – 7-INCH SINGLE REVIEW
Andy from the FensePost Indie Music & Vinyl Blog looks at his copy of the “3…6…9 Seconds of Light” 7-inch single by Belle And Sebastian on Jeepster Recordings from 1997.
Andy breaks down the assorted variants that have been released, outlining versions on 7-inch, a 12-inch maxi single, and those on CDEP. “3…6…9 Seconds of Light” includes two tracks, “A Century of Fakers” on the A side and “Le Pastie De La Bourgeoisie” on the B side.
All vinyl pressings were released in the UK on Jeepster. Outside of Jeepster and the UK, CDEPs were released in Japan (Jeepster), Brazil (Trama Records), and the US (Matador). The songs were never released on a full-length LP, but they did find their way onto the “Push Barman to Open Old Wounds” triple LP compilation featuring early singles.
