Ohana Returns: Eddie Vedder, Green Day, and Hozier Set to Headline This Year’s Festival

Mark your calendars, music lovers: the Ohana Music Festival is making its triumphant return from September 26-28, 2024, at the sun-kissed Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California. As a celebration of music and community, this year’s lineup boasts heavyweight headliners, including the legendary Eddie Vedder, charismatic Hozier, and iconic punk rockers Green Day.

Kicking off the festival, Vedder will take the stage on Friday alongside his band Earthlings. Anticipation is high as fans eagerly await a return to the sultry tones of Vedder’s voice, complemented by the unmistakable energy of the Pacific surf. Friday’s lineup also features a plethora of talent, with performances from alt-rock veterans Garbage, the anthemic Stereophonics, and rising stars like Lukas Nelson and Deep Sea Diver. The vibe promises to be eclectic, ranging from indie pop to heartfelt rock.

Saturday night’s headliner, Hozier, will thread a different kind of magic as he wraps up a day filled with soul, funk, and rhythm. Expect a journey through his soulful hits as he performs alongside exceptional acts such as Leon Bridges, the playful Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and the blues-infused Tedeschi Trucks Band. With such a diverse array of genres, Saturday is bound to be a night of sonic exploration and emotional highs.

As the festival reaches its crescendo on Sunday, Green Day will electrify the crowd, following performances from notable names like Cage the Elephant and the spirited Wet Leg. With their high-octane performances and a catalog full of classics, the band is set to deliver an unforgettable finale, bringing the festival to a roaring close.

Tickets for this year’s Ohana Music Festival go on sale starting May 1, with presales available from April 29. Given the buzz surrounding the lineup, fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure their spot.

In the days leading up to Ohana, Vedder is also embarking on a highly anticipated 10-date tour with Pearl Jam, featuring stops in key cities like Atlanta and Nashville. As noted by producer Andrew Watt, Pearl Jam is not just surviving — they’re thriving, asserting their status as one of the greatest live bands of our time.

With festival season in full swing, Green Day has already made a splash with electrifying performances at Coachella and is set to appear at several other major festivals, including Welcome to Rockville and Bonnaroo. Similarly, Hozier is gearing up to join the summer festival circuit, making Ohana a must-attend event for fans of all genres.

As the air fills with excitement and the salty breeze carries sounds of music, Ohana 2024 promises to be a landmark event for fans and artists alike. Get ready to soak up the sun, music, and unforgettable memories this September!
