Hotline TNT Announces New Album Raspberry Moon and Unleashes “Julia’s War”

In a thrilling follow-up to their celebrated 2023 release, Cartwheel, New York indie rock darlings Hotline TNT have revealed their second album under the iconic Third Man label, titled Raspberry Moon, set to drop on June 20. This eagerly awaited project promises a deeper dive into the band’s sonic landscape, with the lead single “Julia’s War” already making waves online since its debut.

Hotline TNT, comprised of frontman Will Anderson, guitarist Lucky Hunter, bassist Haylen Trammel, and drummer Mike Ralston, has embarked on creating their most dynamic and full-bodied work to date. Recorded with esteemed producer Amos Pitsch, Raspberry Moon marks a significant transition for the band, who previously saw Anderson taking the reins on both their debut album, Nineteen in Love, and Cartwheel. This time around, the collective energy of the quartet has led to a sound that feels more organic and cohesive.

As fans gear up for the album release, the band is wasting no time on the road. Hotline TNT will be hitting stages across North America this spring, sharing bills with alt-rock luminaries Hippo Campus and Midwestern favorites Slow Pulp. The energy generated from these show-stopping performances is likely to add an even greater layer of excitement to the upcoming album.

“We wanted to make a record that felt like a true band effort, and I think we achieved that with Raspberry Moon,” Anderson stated. The single “Julia’s War,” coupled with a striking music video crafted by director Johnny Frohman, represents the band’s growth and exploration of themes ranging from heartache to resilience—an indication of what’s to come on the album.

The tracklist for Raspberry Moon is as follows:

  1. Was I Wrong?
  2. Transition Lens
  3. The Scene
  4. Julia’s War
  5. Letter to Heaven
  6. Break Right
  7. If Time Flies
  8. Candle
  9. Dance the Night Away
  10. Lawnmower
  11. Where U Been?

As the release date approaches, the anticipation continues to build. In the meantime, fans can catch Hotline TNT on the road, with dates including stops in Louisville, Chicago, and Seattle. The upcoming tour promises to deliver the raw energy and electrifying performances that the band has become known for.
