Healing through forward movement w/ Jacob Johns
September 28, 2024 began in prayer and celebration and ended in tragedy with the shooting of Jacob Johns by Trump supporter Ryan Martinez in an attempted mass shooting and political assignations. It was a miracle that everybody lived that day. Nearly 10 months later, on Thursday July 11, 2024, was the opening night of the gallery “Forward Movement,” by relative defender Jacob Johns and the Tewa Basin Collective. Comrade Justine Teba, who was at the shooting, attended the opening night and interviewed Jacob Johns.
