These animals can become (almost) indestructible

Cryptobiosis is arguably one of the coolest adaptations in the animal kingdom, and evolved multiple times! In tardigrades (aka water bears), rotifers, nematodes, and more. Today we’ll be exploring this ability and talking about some of the most extreme examples of cryptobiosis that we know of.
