In the late ’80s in California, some Spanish-speaking Americans decided to join the hardcore and metal music wave and formed their own band, Brujeria.
The news spread like a curse, whispered from barrio to barrio and through the corridors of prison cells.
They were rumored to be members of a Satanic Cartel, linked to multiple murders in Matamoros, near the border, and notorious for drug smuggling into the U.S.
In public, they always appeared masked.
