The extinct animal that was flipped upside down
Today we’re covering one of my favorite extinct animals, Hallucigenia, alive over 500 million years ago during the Cambrian Period. At first glance, it looks otherworldly. And when scientists first discovered it, they didn’t know what to do with it. We’ll be running through the discoveries that led the mystery of Hallucigenia to be solved, and I’ll also quickly introduce you to some of their Cambrian cousins and pals.
