INFO: To say that Mr.Bungle is an eclectic album, is an understatement. Thanks to Mike Patton’s outstanding personality in the music business, both the band and the self-titled debut garnered a special place in the hearts of many cult-fans over the years. And for good reasons. The band tried to break boundaries musically and lyrically with the intention of creating something brand new and real. They walked their walk by creating whatever they felt was new and exciting. Even when facing the pressure of their big record label Warner Brothers, they chose to sing about sex, death, violence and everything in between and write music that is hard to pinpoint in terms of genre. But where did this freak-show of an album come from in the first place? Let’s take a closer look.
