Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin were some of the first bands to perform the metal scream, but the origin of screaming in music actually goes back a lot further to the Nordic Vikings.

Hosts LA Buckner and Nahre Sol talk to the “Scream Queen” herself Melissa Cross to learn about how to scream without hurting your throat, and metal vocalist, Natalie Krueger, screams for us. LA and Nahre are given a mystery screaming vocal track, and attempt to create an original metal song to go with it.
