INFO: Tool has been one of those bands that influenced me a ton back in the day. My dad is a big fan of them, had all of their albums on CDs and i guess i caught the bug too after hearing him play it on our living room stereo as a teenager. I introduced their music to some of my friends and they immediately started digging it too. They were that one band that captured something instantaneously catchy, meticulously thought out, slightly off-putting and mysterious all in one album, even in just one song sometimes.

Now since the band recently revealed two new songs during a live-show in May and we’re expecting a new album to come out soon, i thought it would be a great idea to give my honest opinion of what we’ve heard from the new album so far and hopefully start a conversation with you in the comments. But before we get to that, i thought i’d give new listeners a brief introduction to the band’s history.
