Meet Our Scientists – Richard Clawson
Love our work? Help us continue our research by joining our giving circle. Even just $1/month helps us further our cause: https://quantumgravityresearch.givingcircles.io
The first in a new series from Quantum Gravity Research, each episode focusing on a different scientist, their origins and backgrounds, where their love of science started and how they came to work at QGR.
Richard received a PhD in theoretical physics from Arizona State University, focusing on the geometric implications of Clifford Algebra in quantum mechanics. In addition to teaching there, he has worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM, and at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia. He has a current research appointment at the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. He is interested in using Clifford Algebra to understand the geometry of discrete groups, Lie groups, electron spin, and electron zitterbewegung.
