Drop Nineteens “Hard Light” ALBUM REVIEW
Did you miss it? I did. Drop Nineteens, the elusive shoegaze band from the early to mid 1990s from Boston, released a new album in fall 2023. It’s called Hard Light and today I’m giving it an album review, digging into the vinyl record, and sharing my thoughts. From parallels to My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, and Ride, to occasional hints of Yo La Tengo and Cocteau Twins, Drop Nineteens pack Hard Light with quite a few greats.
