OJ Semans Sr. has been leading as Co-Executive Director of Four Directions since 2003, focusing on boosting Native American voter engagement and safeguarding their rights across several states. His efforts have notably increased voter turnout on major Indian reservations in South Dakota. OJ’s work includes advocacy before legislative bodies, founding the Native American Voting Rights Coalition, and organizing influential candidate forums. He’s also played a key role in securing satellite voting offices on reservations through negotiations and legal actions. His dedication to empowering Native voters continues to drive meaningful progress in ensuring democratic participation and representation.
Dallin Maybee is Northern Arapaho (enrolled)/Seneca and is an accomplished artist, public speaker, performer and is currently the Assistant Director of Development at the Native American Rights Fund (NARF) in Boulder, CO. Dallin has a B.A. degree in Philosophy, as well as a Juris Doctorate from the Sandra Day O’Conner College of Law with an emphasis in Federal Indian Law. His work can be found in private collections and museums across the country, including the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, the Autry Museum, the Heard Museum, and the Portland Art Museum. Awards include Best of Show ribbons at the prestigious Santa Fe Indian Market (2007), the Cherokee Art Market (2020), the Hodinohso:ni’ Art Show (2021), and Tesoro Indian Market (2021). He currently sits on the Denver American Indian Commission, the Truth, Restoration, and Education Commission, and is on the Board for the First Peoples Fund.
