Tv guides i love. Most people dont think about show placement but that could kill a show or boost it. The fall of our beloved shows came down to demogrophics. If an advertiser paid for a show that didnt get juicy ratings networks had to give them free slots. So just imagine if mcdonalds did an ad but they schedule the show at 2 pm instead of 8. Say its a kids sports show or something. Sounds dry but heres the thing: at 2 pm mon-friday those kids are at school. Parents at home are not near as excited about the newest happy meal toy. This show would horribly fail to grab its audience. Mcdonalds doesnt reach its promised number so you have to make it up to them. To save money the sports show goes bye. Had it aired at say 4 now your reaching kids coming home and having a snack while channel surfing. That time difference saved the network money and possibly a hit kids show to sell ads on later. Sorry this is long but sometimes i see old scheduling and you have to wonder what they where thinking.

The last episode of Wings is my favorite last episode of a series. It was funny and touching and leaves you with warm fuzzies. It did for me anyway.
Edit: I was 21 in 1990. Class of '87. Go Tigers! 🐅
Daniel Tosh did a segment on Tosh.0 about my high school. I went to Analy. I'm sure you can imagine the jokes. 😆

Northern Exposure, the flip side of the Twin Peaks coin, was on CBS. Northern Exposure was SUCH a great show. My grandmother cried when it went off the air.
